It’s a great location for city travelers, nice surroundings. Bus stop nearby. It’s easy to get to practically any part of town. My room (facing backyard) was rather quiet.
Since the breakfast is rater monotonous (the same eggs with bacon and sausages) I wouldn’t recommend staying there more than a week)))
Clean, good service, excellent central London locality
The room, especially the bathroom, was a bit small
This hotel suited our needs, was clean and comfortable and close to victoria station.
We took a special liking on one of the male reception staff of Chinese origin, he was a charismatic person who knows his PR job, forgot his name. He was an excellent staff who helped us a lot when we needed small adjustments in our room. Also want to thank another reception male staff of Indian origin, was an excellent person.
Breakfast room staff full of Portuguese origin hardly spoke any English; I hope the management trains them to learn English to deal with the guests. Sidney Hotel website stated of a free buffet style English breakfast however guests were not allowed to serve themselves. Breakfast serving by the staff reminded me of a school hostel line up!
the hotel was very clean and all the staff was very helpfull and very good at there jobs aswell as frendly and i would stay at the hotel again when we visit london thanks for a nice stay
Excellent location close to both railway station and underground, and with bus stop just outside the door.
Breakfast availability hours far too short. Therefore a very crowded breakfast room with quee every day.
- Location (bus stop just at the entrance of the hotel). It was clean.
Double room was tiny, I have never seen such a small room ever. It was all occupied by bed, and no room left for you and your personal things :) It was noisy due to the room facing the street and poor sound isolation in the hotel itself (we heard everything going on in the neighboring room. Breakfast was poor. You had to pay for any tv (even just for bbc news).
pleasant efficient staff ,,good location, adequate breakfast, room facilities very good but the bed was uncomfortable due to poor condition of mattress.Overall I would recommend this hotel -good value at £85.
no looby, breakfast can be improved, cleaner rooms,
Great location! You get into the bus heading towards the most of London places of interest as soon as you passed the hotel entracne door! 5 min drive to Westminster/Big Ben, 10 min to Trafalgar Square and West End.
The staff were really nice at breakfast
The bedspread was not fully laundered and the kettle shelf was a bit dangerous
There was a good choice of food at breakfast
The room we had was in the basement and therefore was very hot, there was a fan but it was very noisy so kept us awake.
Very nice location, close to the main bus/train station (Victoria) and also close to the old city centre (Westminster).
Location is ideal for exploring Victoria square area.
Its room is so small that you can hardly open your baggage fully even if it is a doble room.
we had a nice overnight stay to see a show at the victoria palace. It was 15 min walk from victoria station.we had a nice welcome from the receptionist on duty and were very knowledgeable with sightseeing information and what transport to use.you can also keep your luggage stored for the day of booking out so you can see the sights or shop without carrying unessessary baggage,The room was pleasant and quiet. The "closet" being the en suite was small.Overall it was a relaxing night and I would return.
We were unable to buy a drink prior to leaving for the theatre at 6pm. In the room,we had 3 lights not working but because we were only there for one night,we didnt complain.
